...it originally started...that I can document...either Study Hall in 6th grade back in April/May 08, or 7th grade study hall in Fall 08. I had a full notebook documenting series names, which fit, which didn't, driver ideas, car ideas, manufacturers...you name it. I tried to run the "Rockstar Racing Series", the predecessor to the NORA Castrol Cup Series. Here is the earliest documented video, that I haven't taken down yet. Below that is the earliest "Race":

Don't need to tell me I failed, because I know I did. I tried and tried, but finally gave up and sat '09 out planning more. In the summer of '09, I continued what I left off but this time I made ideas for three series, and a series acronym. I went through, as I can remember, I think 5 or 6 different acronyms before I found one that fit: NORA.
NORA, or the National Organization for Racing Automobiles, is the acronym that obviously has stood to this day. Then the idea for the NORA CoT came along..you know how that ended up. Then, I went further by making the fictional team owners, to make NORA seem as real as possible.
I know this seems like my life story to some of you who hate reading, but for some of you, I figured I'd give you guys some background information on how hard I've tried giving you a great offline league. Even with life and the normal 14 year old drama that goes on, I steer clear of it knowing you guys will want to watch the next installment in the NORA Castrol Cup Series on ASN.
I hope that NORA will one day become as popular as the TM Master Cup Series, but only time will tell...
Thanks for reading.
