Less than a month after his departure, Jonathan Myers has stated he will be returning to the Global Racing Championship. Howard Kohler did not like that the GRC officials did not want him to radically change the series once known as the NORA Castrol Cup Series.

"I noticed he tried to change a stockcar series to an open wheel series, that just doesn't work." Myers stated. "I'm going to keep in place what he had, though, with the one car and 24 cars on the grid to cut costs. I'm doing this to prevent another bankruptcy, because we nearly lost this entire series with those shenanigans."
