How to get in:
- Being successful in a lower tier series, as this will open up rides in the Cup Series for your character. This is meant to be portrayed as real as possible, you know!
- Be a friend of mine. I have, as Cynon put it on his thread on "how to get in and out of TMMC", jumped through hurdles to get my friends in this series. Some drivers won't leave the series because of this.
How to get out:
- Be a douche bag on the forums. Self explanatory.

The GRC have announced that Riverside Raceway, Watkins Glen International and Barber Motorsports Park are two circuits that have inked contracts for the 2013 season. Watkins Glen is at work installing lights at the facility, and the Grand Prix there will more than likely be a primetime race.

Race 1 - Decatur
The 3.367 mile, 16 turn race circuit that is Decatur. Host to the American Grand Prix, it winds through the cornfields of Decatur, IL. It doesn't have that much elevation change, except for the beginning of the second sector. Other than that, it is a relatively flat circuit, with a satisfactory amount of overtaking opportunities. The front straightaway at Decatur is a spectacle all on its own....

Josh Mertz, partial owner of MRT, has announced that MRT will run a commemorative paint scheme for the 2002 game Freekstyle at the Grosser Preis Mercedes von Deutschland (German Grand Prix) on June 10, signifying the 10th anniversary of the video game.
Mertz Racing Technologies Team Owners Josh and Ron Mertz have formally announced their list of partners for the 2012 Season, having added several more throughout the week.
On Monday morning, Rookie Robert Quiroga made an announcement on what country license he will race with. Robert confirmed he will be running with a Mexican license. "I know that being American is a great honor and I should be proud to have a license under it. I am very proud, but I'm prouder of my heritage as a Mexican. Rookie Racing, Canadas only Red Bull World Series team, has finally collapsed. Its only the first race of the season, but the team was plagued with financial troubles since its inception in late 2011. The 13th grid slot is now vacant, and the GRC will be looking for a replacement team.

Casey Lester has dreamed of becoming a driver in American or global motorsports since he was a kid. It has been reported that defending Red Bull World Series champion Randy Carpenter may take a lucrative offer to drive for Renault-Total Racing in the Le Mans Series. A replacement driver is unknown at this point, but that driver would run #0.

Jonathan Myers may institute a system of numbering the cars 1-25, skipping #13. Ron Mertz was the only driver to not agree to institute the system for 2012, and with his supposed retirement after 2012 this system will more than likely go in effect in 2013.
Ron Mertz, the 9-time Red Bull World Series champion, has announced that if he wins his 10th title this year, he will retire. He wants his career to end on a high note. It has been rumored that if he retires, Jared Pierce would take over the car he vacated, renumbered to 37. It is also rumored that Team Jrod and Mertz Racing Technologies would merge if that happened.
Two circuits, the Hockenheimring and the Red Bull Ring, have been in talks with Jonathan Myers in holding rounds of the Red Bull World Series. It is unknown if they will get dates or not.

Josh Mertz, Jared Pierce, Zack Johnson, and a trio of other Red Bull World Series drivers have expressed their statements of leaving the Global Racing Championship to go reform the Champ Car World Series. In 2008, Champ Car filed for bankruptcy due to low funds and dwindling field sizes. Carmen Del Rio is rumored to take over the #81 and have it renumbered to the #4, which Del Rio drove for RMR up until the end of 2011.
I've been getting an abundance of ideas for GRC that I don't want to use because it would break what I had already planned. 2012 will "Exist", just not covered, if that makes any sense. I'm going to make a real F1 like series because I feel like it :p
Jonathan Myers had said the Red Bull World Series schedule has been cut in half due to 10 venues not paying the sanctioning fees in order to host the races.
Red Bull has reported that even that Equipe Taureau Rouge and Toro Rojo Carreras never ran a race, those teams will be shuttered due to dwindling funds. The series sponsorship and sponsorship of Mertz Racing Technologies will still stand.

News from the Power Sport facility in Thebes, Greece: Alexzander Halkias has received confirmation from GRC officials that his team (Power Sport) has been apporved to join the Red Bull World Series. Halkias, a native of Thebes, has managed to also purchase rights to the number 91 after John Quinn left Legion Argentina due to unknown circumstances. Halkias has brought former crew member from the 91 team, Alex Gordon up to drive the 19 as a "Driver Developement" program. The team will be sponsored by Jim Beam as well as Klein Tools.

Scott Nowak was booted from the 46 car, for the fact that Blake Camphausen Motorsports sponsor Century, wanted Blake Camphausen behind the wheel of the car, to better promote the Century brand. Nowak will be left on as a test driver. "They (Century) wanted an ex-MMA fighter promoting the brand, not some stock car driver from no where. So I'll be stepping in." said Camphausen
Josh Mertz has joined Adam Sweet as being an American driver that races under another countries flag. Mertz, who is partially German, is respecting his native heritage.

Poseidon Energy has downsized their operations which has included cutting their racing team. Argentinian businessman Patricio Esteban has purchased the equipment of the team and will rename it "Legion Argentina". Drumstick company Vic Firth will come aboard to sponsor. Esteban has brought former URCA Racing League driver John Quinn to drive the second car. It is unknown who the reserve driver will be.
Jonathan Myers was quoted as saying yesterday that he has looked into possibly making the cars a bit more rally style, due to the fact that he may include a couple dirt races on the 2011 calendar.

Jason Ness, driver of the #09 car, has been dropped by Lorenzo-Smith Motorsports in favor of rookie Nik Carlson. Carlson, from Lowell, IN, has brought along Mortal Kombat as an associate sponsor of the #09 car.

GRC CEO Howard Kohler announced yesterday that he will talk to Chevrolet about implementing a "Power to Pass" feature in the cars for 2012. He has stated he would implement this because he would like to keep the field closer together and the race exciting.
Howard Kohler, CEO and President of the GRC, has announced today that the Lowell SuperSpeedway has been removed from the calendar:
"I honestly believe such a great speedway should have its final race be the stockcars that we know and loved. Thats what the track was built for and run for, after all."
It is unknown what will take the place of the fabled speedway. WRA and ISC have already announced they will not be returning to the track, which means the famed 2.0 mile D-Shaped oval will slowly creep into disrepair.
Jonathan Myers has retired from the position of CEO and President of the Global Racing Championship. He has done this because of the turmoil in the core staff of the sanctioning body.
"I just can't take this anymore," says Myers. "all of us are doing our own thing it seems and no one is on the same page. I hope the best for this series in the future."
"I am determined to make this the best racing series in the world." says Kohler.
