I had posted this on the 2012 RBWS NORApedia page, but I don't know how many of you check that.
"I've looked at previous Champ Car seasons (and I'm basing "The Takeover" loosely off of CART's bankruptcy/purchase by the teams) and they ran 14 races with 2 ovals. I am thinking only 10 races would be good both from a storyline stand point and a workload standpoint, as storyline wise they don't want to spend too much money for "boring" races and I'm doing full coverage for each event, therefore I won't have to work as much. The schedule if I go to 10 races will be as follows:
[edit]Races
Round Race Title Grand Prix Circuit Date
1 Pepsi United States Grand Prix United States GP Decatur Raceway, Decatur March 18
2 Grand Prix du Canada Canadian GP Trois Rivieres Street Circuit, Trois Rivieres March 25
3 Grand Prix du Français French GP Magny Cours, Nevers May 13
4 Abbey British Grand Prix British GP Silverstone Circuit, Northamptonshire May 27
5 Belgian Grand Prix Belgian GP Spa Francorchamps, Spa June 10
6 Großer Preis Mercedes von Deutschland German GP Hockenheimring, Hockenheim July 1
7 Finnish Grand Prix Finnish GP Karjala Raceway, Karjala September 2
8 SONY Japanese Grand Prix Japanese GP Suzuka Circuit, Suzuka City October 14
9 Supercheap Auto Australian Grand Prix Australian GP Mount Panorama Circuit, Bathurst October 28
10 Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix Indianapolis GP Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Speedway November 25
And I might run the Indy oval just for kicks. Give me your thoughts about this idea?"
