GRC Red Bull World Series powered by Chevrolet Empty Announcement:

How to get into the RBWS

I will go over my guidelines in how to get into the Cup Series :D

How to get in:

- Being successful in a lower tier series, as this will open up rides in the Cup Series for your character. This is meant to be portrayed as real as possible, you know!

- Be a friend of mine. I have, as Cynon put it on his thread on "how to get in and out of TMMC", jumped through hurdles to get my friends in this series. Some drivers won't leave the series because of this.

How to get out:

- Be a douche bag on the forums. Self explanatory.

GRC Red Bull World Series powered by Chevrolet Empty Announcement:

How this started. originally started...that I can document...either Study Hall in 6th grade back in April/May 08, or 7th grade study hall in Fall 08. I had a full notebook documenting series names, which fit, which didn't, driver ideas, car ideas, name it. I tried to run the "Rockstar Racing Series", the predecessor to the NORA Castrol Cup Series. Here is the earliest documented video, that I haven't taken down yet. Below that is the earliest "Race":

The GRC have announced that Riverside Raceway, Watkins Glen International and Barber Motorsports Park are two circuits that have inked contracts for the 2013 season. Watkins Glen is at work installing lights at the facility, and the Grand Prix there will more than likely be a primetime race.

To build up anticipation for the start of the 2012 Red Bull World Series powered by Chevrolet season, I wrote this little piece about the first circuit of the season...

Race 1 - Decatur

The 3.367 mile, 16 turn race circuit that is Decatur. Host to the American Grand Prix, it winds through the cornfields of Decatur, IL. It doesn't have that much elevation change, except for the beginning of the second sector. Other than that, it is a relatively flat circuit, with a satisfactory amount of overtaking opportunities. The front straightaway at Decatur is a spectacle all on its own....

This is the second part in a 3 part series, predicting the places of the 2012 Teams and Driver of the Red Bull World Series powered by Chevrolet here on In this part, we will cover Lotus, Bi-Winning, MONSTER, and Argentina. Let's get started!

We left off with...
Perhaps Haas is most memorable for being dumped in his second ever race at Dover, whilst running in the midfield? He has really been unnoticed, previously driving for the underfunded and underpowered...

It's that time of year again where we predict (albeit, foolishly) how the 24 drivers on this elite grid will perform this year. Starting with the champion and ending with the two French newcomers, let's get started!

It really seems, in just 10 short races, that Randy Carpenter went from hated to loved. After wrecking the entire field in the Rookie Shootout to winning the Championship, he hopes to repeat this year. Silver Green Racing has looked impressive...

On Monday morning, Rookie Robert Quiroga made an announcement on what country license he will race with. Robert confirmed he will be running with a Mexican license. "I know that being American is a great honor and I should be proud to have a license under it. I am very proud, but I'm prouder of my heritage as a Mexican. Besides, the US Anthem will play if I win due to Monster Energy Racing being an American team."

(Just an FYI, Mechyboy told me I can do whatever I wanted with his team. I told him I'd make his team like a USF1 type deal for storyline purposes and he was fine with it)

Rookie Racing, Canadas only Red Bull World Series team, has finally collapsed. Its only the first race of the season, but the team was plagued with financial troubles since its inception in late 2011. The 13th grid slot is now vacant, and the GRC will be looking for a replacement team.

Casey Lester has dreamed of becoming a driver in American or global motorsports since he was a kid. He's been trying to saye enough money to afford a car and earn a driving job in the Global Racing Championship. Even if he doesn't have enough money to start a team, he'd still be content with driving for a GRC team.

"I just wanna race." said Lester in an interview with STV on Friday. "That's all I want to do. It doesn't matter where, I just want to get behind the wheel and go. Although, there is one series in particular I've been looking to go to: the Global Racing Championship. I've...

I had posted this on the 2012 RBWS NORApedia page, but I don't know how many of you check that.

"I've looked at previous Champ Car seasons (and I'm basing "The Takeover" loosely off of CART's bankruptcy/purchase by the teams) and they ran 14 races with 2 ovals. I am thinking only 10 races would be good both from a storyline stand point and a workload standpoint, as storyline wise they don't want to spend too much money for "boring" races and I'm doing full coverage for each event, therefore I won't have to work as much. The schedule if I go to 10 races will...

On Sunday, before the United States Grand Prix, Team JROD owner and driver Jared Pierce announced that the Z8Games branded game Crossfire would sponsor his team's cars for the Karjala round of the 2012 RBWS Season. "We are proud to announce that Z8Games has reached an agreement with our team to sponsor our car for Karjala this season and possibly more in the future.", Pierce said in an interview. Fellow Team JROD driver Shaun Porter was quoted saying "I did play that game a few times when Jrod wasn't there and it's somewhat fun. Can't see me really getting into it as much as he does, though. I'm thinking about allowing extra teams (like 4-5-ish) in but only 26 cars qualify for the race...kinda like old school F1. Yay or nay? I'd like foreign drivers if you do put a team in pl0x

It has been reported that defending Red Bull World Series champion Randy Carpenter may take a lucrative offer to drive for Renault-Total Racing in the Le Mans Series. A replacement driver is unknown at this point, but that driver would run #0.

Jonathan Myers may institute a system of numbering the cars 1-25, skipping #13. Ron Mertz was the only driver to not agree to institute the system for 2012, and with his supposed retirement after 2012 this system will more than likely go in effect in 2013.

Ron Mertz, the 9-time Red Bull World Series champion, has announced that if he wins his 10th title this year, he will retire. He wants his career to end on a high note. It has been rumored that if he retires, Jared Pierce would take over the car he vacated, renumbered to 37. It is also rumored that Team Jrod and Mertz Racing Technologies would merge if that happened.

I've been getting an abundance of ideas for GRC that I don't want to use because it would break what I had already planned. 2012 will "Exist", just not covered, if that makes any sense. I'm going to make a real F1 like series because I feel like it :p

The Russian Federation, as we have heard, was overthrown by a communist group known as "The Ultranationalists". The Ultranationalists are a revolutionary political party and armed organization in Russia who wish to return the country back to what it was during the days of the Soviet Union. They believe that the Russian Federation does not have the best interests of the Russian people at heart, siding with Western interests both philosophically and economically, and they perceived this to be destroying or weakening the Russian state. The Ultranationalists idealize their old Soviet state...

Hello everyone, Tim Baltazar here. This is a new segment I'm starting here on I'm going to be previewing all 12 teams that will be competing in 2012 Red Bull World Series powered by Chevrolet. So starting with the defending champions, lets get started!

Silver Green Racing:
Many fans have openly stated that SGR's triumph with then rookie driver Randy Carpenter was a complete fluke, especially after what he did at the Rookie Shootout in March. Honestly, they were the cinderella story on the grid in 2011. Gillard did not show promise in his return from retirement,...

It is unknown what will take the place of the fabled speedway. WRA and ISC have already announced they will not be returning to the track, which means the famed 2.0 mile D-Shaped oval will slowly creep into disrepair.
