This is the second part in a 3 part series, predicting the places of the 2012 Teams and Driver of the Red Bull World Series powered by Chevrolet here on ASN.com. In this part, we will cover Lotus, Bi-Winning, MONSTER, and Argentina. Let's get started!
We left off with...
LOTUS TECHNOLOGIES (GREAT BRITIAN)
CHRIS HAAS (UNITED STATES) - CAR #48 - 3RD YEAR IN THE RED BULL WORLD SERIES
Perhaps Haas is most memorable for being dumped in his second ever race at Dover, whilst running in the midfield? He has really been unnoticed, previously driving for the underfunded and underpowered Juggernaut Racing Team. Perhaps the talent has not been harvested? When Vault Boy Motorsports, Adam Hamlin Motorsports, and the aforementioned Juggernaut Racing Team combined all their resources on the grid, it will make this new Lotus-powered outfit able to challenge for points and the podium.
ADAM SWEET (SERTZ) - CAR #67 - 2ND YEAR IN THE RED BULL WORLD SERIES
Adam Sweet, that down home boy from Virginia, never thought that the United States premier stock car racing series would turn into such a global commodity in one short year. With little sponsorship, his little team ran midfield in 2011, minding his own business and collecting seat and track time. Has he gathered enough road racing experience to challenge the Mertz's, Carpenter, Smith, and the likes? We will see in Decatur!
BI-WINNING MOTORSPORTS (UNITED STATES)
RANDY CALLAHAN (UNITED STATES) - CAR #44 - 10TH YEAR IN THE RED BULL WORLD SERIES
